There is something magical about a handmade candle — and our students discover this magic firsthand. Candle making is a calming, structured activity that teaches concentration, sequencing, and the science of materials in an engaging, tactile way. Students take pride in gifting or displaying candles they have made themselves.

Who doesn't love chocolate? This delightful course uses the universal appeal of chocolate to build culinary confidence, sensory awareness, and life skills. From melting to tempering to moulding to decorating, students engage with every step of the process — and the delicious results speak for themselves! This course is especially motivating for students who respond well to food-based rewards.

In today's digital world, creative technology skills open exciting doors. Our Canva Designing course introduces students to the world of digital design in a simple, visual, and highly motivating way. Using the intuitive Canva platform, students create posters, greeting cards, social media graphics, and more — developing digital literacy, self-expression, and a genuine sense of achievement.

Paper bag making is a wonderfully purposeful craft — students create something genuinely useful that friends and family will treasure and use every day. This course takes students through the satisfying journey of transforming flat sheets of paper into sturdy, stylish carry bags. From measuring and folding to punching, threading, and decorating, every step builds a new skill. The eco-friendly nature of the craft also introduces children to conversations about sustainability and caring for our environment — values that shape thoughtful, responsible citizens.

What our students will learn & experience:

• Measuring, scoring, and folding paper with precision
• Cutting and assembling bag sides, base, and handles
• Punching holes and threading ribbon or cord handles
• Decorating bags using stamps, stickers, stencils, and paint

Decorative box making is a course that combines the satisfying precision of construction with the joyful freedom of artistic decoration. Students learn to measure, score, fold, and assemble sturdy paper and card boxes in a variety of sizes and shapes — and then transform them into stunning decorative pieces using paint, paper, ribbon, gems, and more. These boxes make wonderful gifts and keepsakes, giving students an incredible sense of purpose: they are not just learning a skill, they are creating treasures. This course is particularly effective in developing spatial awareness, planning, and creative decision-making.

What our students will learn & experience:

• Measuring and scoring card for clean, sharp folds
• Assembling box bases and lids with accuracy
• Exploring a variety of box styles (square, rectangular, hexagonal)
• Decorating with paint, decoupage, ribbon, buttons, and gems
