About Tamanna School

Tamanna School for the Specially Abled is a JSW Foundation initiative established in 2008 at the OP Jindal Complex, Toranagallu, Vijayanagar, Karnataka. It is the only school in the region exclusively dedicated to children with special needs, serving students from across the Bellary district and surrounding rural areas.

The school follows an individualised, therapy-integrated model of education — ensuring every student receives an education plan tailored to their unique abilities, interests, and goals. Tamanna is committed to nurturing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Learning Disabilities in a safe, empowering, and joyful environment.

From its founding with just 4 students, Tamanna has grown to a community of over 100 learners, supported by trained special educators, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and a dedicated support team.
